Reviews and Ratings
A pleasant stay overall with a comfortable bed, friendly service, and a convenient location near the town center. However, dining options could be improved, and not within easy walking distance of Bishop Auckland town center.
The hotel is ideally located for the new Kynren event and has easy access to Sainsbury's restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, but there was an issue with the lack of nearby plugs. The service at the reception desk was attentive, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. However, the dining experience, particularly the Tuscan cheese, fell short. The facilities are good overall, offering what you need for a pleasant stay.
The hotel is located in a peaceful area, with a cozy 'court yard' atmosphere around. The rooms are equipped with decent facilities and feature very comfortable beds, making for a pleasant stay overall. However, the dining experience may have some items served cold, affecting the overall enjoyment.
